Get up early morning today to enjoy the mesmerizing morning of Thimphu. Today you would be driven in and around Thimphu covering key places of interest. After breakfast you would visit: • Kuensel Phodrang, the Gigantic Buddha Dordenma Statue • National Memorial Chorten • Zorig Chusum, Premier Institute of Traditional Arts and Crafts and Folk Heritage Traditional house giving an insight to the Bhutanese lifestyle. • Sangaygang View Point, also known as BBS • Changangkha Monastery • Lunch at local restaurant • Takin Preserve Centre(National Animal of Bhutan) • Tashichho Dzong opens after 5pm • Simply Bhutan • Dinner at hotel • Overnight stay
Today we will transfer you to Paro Valley for the final leg of the tour. It is famous for the Iconic Taktsang Lhakhang (known as Tiger’s Nest) and is the home to the National Museum. On the way stop at: • Breakfast at hotel • Royal Botanical Park, Lamperi, also known as the Rhododendron Garden • Ta Dzong • Lunch at local restaurant • Paro Rimpung Dzong, • Kyichu Lhakhang • Explore Local market • Dinner at hotel • Overnight stay
TIGERNEST TREKKING: Paro Taktsang is a sacred Vajrayana Himalayan Buddhist site located in the Cliffside of the upper Paro valley in Bhutan. It is one of thirteen Tiger’s Nest caves in historical Tibet in which Padmasambhava practiced and taught Vajrayana. It is situated at an elevation of more than 10,000 ft. It takes 2 to 3hrs depending on your walking style one way. After lunch move for activities such as Archery experience, Farm house visit, National Dress wearing experience on direct payment basis and shopping around the Paro Town.
